By using WWJS, you agree to these terms. Please read them. The most important things: WWJS is a moral and spiritual reflection tool, not a clinical or medical service. It is not a substitute for professional care. If you are in crisis, please contact 988 or emergency services immediately.
WWJS ("What Would Jesus Say") is a moral and spiritual reflection tool operated by Oui Technologies. It is designed to offer perspective grounded in the teachings of Jesus Christ — specifically the interpretive principle found in Matthew 22:37-40 — on moral, ethical, and spiritual questions.
WWJS is not a licensed mental health service, psychiatric service, psychological counseling service, or clinical intervention of any kind. It is not a crisis intervention service. It is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, psychiatric, pastoral, or legal advice.
The responses generated by WWJS are produced by artificial intelligence and reflect moral and spiritual perspective only. They do not constitute professional advice of any kind.
WWJS is not a therapist, counselor, psychologist, psychiatrist, or licensed mental health provider. No communication with WWJS creates a therapeutic, clinical, or professional relationship of any kind. Nothing in any WWJS response should be understood as a diagnosis, treatment recommendation, clinical assessment, or medical opinion.
If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, suicidal thoughts, thoughts of harming yourself or others, a substance use emergency, or any other situation requiring immediate professional attention, do not rely on WWJS. Contact qualified professionals immediately.
By using WWJS, you acknowledge and agree that:
You use WWJS at your own risk. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
Oui Technologies is not responsible for decisions you make based on WWJS responses. You are solely responsible for your own actions, decisions, and their consequences. WWJS provides perspective for reflection — it does not and cannot make decisions for you, and it is not liable for any decision you make after using the service.
Oui Technologies expressly disclaims all liability for any harm, loss, injury, death, or damage of any kind — including but not limited to physical harm, psychological harm, financial loss, or loss of life — arising from or related to your use of WWJS or your reliance on any response generated by WWJS.
This limitation of liability applies regardless of the theory of liability — whether in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise — and even if Oui Technologies has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
WWJS is not an emergency service and cannot dispatch emergency responders. If you or someone you know is in immediate danger, call 911 or your local emergency services immediately. Do not rely on WWJS in an emergency situation.
While WWJS may suggest crisis resources such as the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline in appropriate circumstances, this does not make WWJS an emergency or crisis service. These suggestions are provided as a courtesy and do not create any obligation or liability on the part of Oui Technologies.
WWJS responses are generated by artificial intelligence and may contain errors, omissions, or perspectives that are incomplete or not applicable to your specific circumstances. No response from WWJS should be treated as definitive, authoritative, or infallible on any theological, moral, legal, medical, or personal matter.
WWJS does not have access to your full personal history, circumstances, or context beyond what you share in a session. Its responses are necessarily limited by this constraint.
You agree to use WWJS only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to use WWJS to harm others, to solicit information intended to harm others, or in any way that violates applicable law.
You agree not to attempt to manipulate, circumvent, or exploit the WWJS system or its underlying technology for purposes contrary to its stated mission.
WWJS is intended for users 13 years of age and older. By using WWJS, you represent that you are at least 13 years old.
The WWJS name, design, and the JCHEE framework underlying its responses are the intellectual property of Oui Technologies and Craig C. Shelton respectively. The content of individual responses generated for you during your session is provided for your personal use and reflection. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercialize WWJS responses without written permission.
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. We will post changes on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of WWJS after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of WWJS shall be resolved in the courts of Illinois.
