Privacy Policy

Name and email address. When you enter WWJS through the gateway, you provide your first name and email address. These are stored in your browser's localStorage — on your device, not on our servers. They are used to personalize your experience and to send you a confirmation via Mailchimp if you opt in. We do not store them in any database we control.

Conversation memory summary. To provide continuity between sessions, WWJS stores a brief structural summary of past conversation topics in your browser's localStorage. This summary captures only the topics you asked about — not the questions themselves, not the answers, not any identifying detail. It lives on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.

Anonymous vote data. If you rate a response using the thumbs up or thumbs down buttons, we record only the vote (+1 or -1) and a timestamp. No question, no answer, no name, no email, no IP address is attached to this record. It is completely anonymous.

Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how people use WWJS — page visits, session duration, and general usage patterns. This data is aggregated and does not identify individual users. You can opt out of Google Analytics using standard browser tools or extensions.

We do not store the content of your questions or the responses you receive. Conversations are processed by the Anthropic API in real time and are not retained by Oui Technologies after your session ends. We do not log, record, or archive what you ask WWJS.

We do not collect payment information. Donations are processed directly by Stripe. Oui Technologies does not receive or store your payment card details.

We do not collect location data, device identifiers, or any biometric information.

Anthropic. WWJS uses the Anthropic API to generate responses. Your questions are transmitted to Anthropic's servers for processing. Anthropic's privacy policy governs how they handle this data. We recommend reviewing it at anthropic.com. We do not send your name, email, or any identifying information to Anthropic — only the text of your question and the current session's conversation history.

Mailchimp. If you provide your email address at the gateway, it is submitted to Mailchimp to add you to our mailing list. You may unsubscribe at any time. Mailchimp's privacy policy governs how they handle your email address.

Stripe. Donations are processed by Stripe. Oui Technologies does not receive or store payment information. Stripe's privacy policy governs your payment data.

Google Analytics. Aggregated, anonymized usage data is collected via Google Analytics. No personally identifying information is shared with Google through this integration.

Because your name, email, and conversation memory summary are stored in your browser's localStorage, you have complete control over them. You can delete this data at any time by clearing your browser's localStorage or by using the "Start a new conversation" button within WWJS, which removes your stored memory summary.

For complete privacy on any device, use WWJS in an incognito or private browsing window. No data will be written to localStorage and nothing will persist after you close the window.

To request removal of your email from our Mailchimp list, use the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or contact us directly.

WWJS is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to remove it.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will post any changes on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of WWJS after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
